Xian China Day 2

Day 2 we were still struggling with some pretty bad jet lag, but managed to have fun in the midst of the tired.
One of my favorite things was the Tang Bo Art Museum. it is a very small museum, but we learned so much about Chinese art, and we got s special class on how to paint Chinese Characters. She taught us the eight letter alphabet,  and how each symbol has a mix of the different alphabet letters. We learned about the pig skin shadow puppets, and the intricate paper cutting. It was a favorite for sure. We also visited the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which is huge Buddhist Temple and Danming Park. We've been getting around China well without a guide and have enjoyed exploring our son's culture.

Another paper cutting. These were amazing and it is becoming a lost art.
