Mia Turns 5!!!!!!

Princess Mia had her Frozen party Saturday. She woke up with a low grade fever, and it continued on and off all day. But she wasn't about to miss her party. She did cry after she opened her gifts and just clung to me or her daddy. Hence she wasn't feeling herself. But she was a trooper and we got some smiles out of her too.

This girl is a hoot!!!! She is always making us laugh. She is all about Princess stuff right now. We all Love our sweet girl to Heaven and Back!!!! Happy Birthday to our Little Princess.

Happy Resurrection Day 2015

So Thankful for God's Love and Sacrifice on The Cross.

Now After the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave. And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it. And his appearance was like lighting, and his clothing as white as snow. The guards shook for fear of him and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where he was lying.
Mathew 28:1-6 NASB

This was Cora's first resurrection Sunday. We have been reading a storybook Bible every day and talking about it. She has already started to memorize scripture and hide it in her heart. We celebrated Easter with Family worship and Bible time at home this year. It was a precious sweet time. Then we headed to Joe's mom's house for Easter festivities.

Leggio Love's Update

Well time sure has a way of getting away from you, and I don't want to forget the memories we make. So first off a few weeks ago I rowed Madeline with Mia, Cora and Corbin. The bigger boys still love to be read too so I read them Madeline one day too. We made Eiffel Towers out of marshmallows and pretzels. Yummy and fun activity!!!!!
We also have been getting ALOT of rain here in South Texas. We got a nice sunny day so I loaded up the kiddos one Friday grabbed Chick Fil A and headed for a park. We enjoyed the beautiful sun and our food. Then it was back to more raining.
And in between rains we took the kids to Battleship Texas and The San Jacinto Monument. The boys ate up the World War I and II battleship, and we covered every inch we could of it. Top and below decks. Then we went across the way to the San Jacinto Monument where the battle for Texas Independence from Mexico happened. It was a great field trip day with the family!!!!
