The Jersey Barn and Junk Gypsy

Last Weekend me and four of the Leggio Loves headed to a Raw Dairy Farm about an hour and a half away in La Grange, Texas. We had done our Five In A Row Book  How To Make An Apple Pie and See The World and then read Milk from Cow to Carton. I wanted to make that become a real experience for the kids so off we went on an adventure.
Mia was quite freaked out by all the chickens and animals everywhere. LOL She wouldn't participate to say the least, only in the ice cream eating. But the other three enjoyed it and Cora got to experience farm animals and farm life for the first time. She even got to milk a Jersey Cow.
On the way home we stopped at the famous Junk Gypsy and got a picture with Large Marge in Round Top. It was a fun day!!!!!
