Oh my goodness how this girl has grown this past two years. I can't believe it sometimes when I think about how far Mia has come in these two years. When we were handed this beautiful gift from God, she was the tiniest 2 year old we had ever seen. She Weighed 14lbs and wore 9 to 12 month clothes, she couldn't walk or crawl, but she could scoot her little hiney everywhere. Mia hadn't been fed solids and had food aversions.
Now you would never know she had any delays. This girl can keep up with the boys, talk and sing your ear off, and eats anything!!!!!!
She has blessed our family in such HUGE ways and it has been complete joy to watch her blossom. She is a very spunky girl with such a huge personality. Mia we Love you to Heaven and Back. You are a gift from God.

We had a special visit this past weekend from friends we met while traveling to get our daughters in China March 2012. Mia and their sweet Macy are Gansu sisters from the same orphanage. We both used AWAA a Christian agency out of Virginia and we both ended up being from the Lonestar state. Love how God works.
It was so fun getting our girlies together and our whole families. While the Big Boys (Dad's) golfed we picked up some Chick Fil A and headed to a park and enjoyed a beautiful day of sunshine and playing.
Later that night Shelly and I snuck away to Cheesecake Factory. Yummy!!!!!! Such a precious time with dear friends. We missed our other friends the Dodd's and the Boggs Families. Their sweet kiddos are from the same orphanage too. Friendships and Bonds formed on this adoption journey are so so special.
