Praying you are overwhelmed by God today and know that you are so Loved by an Awesome God. Rejoicing that he has risen for us. Oh, what a loving Father we serve.
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God. 1 John 3:1
Wanting all to know that God can take all the shame and guilt you may be feeling away if you trust him. He loves you and wants to have a relationship with you. Praying you will find joy in him today and always. Love your sister in Christ.

Thursday morning we got up and I surprised the kids with a trip to the zoo. It was the perfect spring day and all the animals were out and they were a little frisky, which makes for a great zoo day. We were standing watching the Tiger and he roared a couple of times which will send chills down your spine. Imagine meeting that big guy in the forest. Mia loved the zoo and bounced around naming the animals she new. So sweet. I am sorry for my iPhone pics lately it is just way to easy. Lol

Okay I did it and it worked. I made my own chalk paint thanks to Pinterest. Soooo I choose a funky coral color because the walls in our new casa will be a fun blue color and I thought this would pop and add some whimsy to our new space. It turned out so cute but it is hard to tell against the dark plum wall in our rental. But we Finally closed on our construction loan and will start building soon. Yeah!!!!!!! All in God's timing. :)

Today was soooo fun. I can't believe it has been a year all ready. Our little girl has come so far in the past year. She is still a tiny little peanut and her speech may be behind but she understands so much and is saying new words everyday. We got to start our day with church, lunch at PF Changs, Build a Bear, Marble Slab and last but not least swimming and crawfish at our good friends. It was a great day.

Today is the day before we got our sweet princess one year ago. We are celebrating her today, starting with daddy bringing home pink sprinkled donuts. After church we are headed to lunch celebrating with some Asian food than onto build a bear to let Mia adopt a cuddly friend. I have thought long and hard how to celebrate our little china blessing and we are so excited to be able to celebrate her and her special place she has in our family. Our hearts were forever changed one year ago. Thank you Jesus for Mia.

I love that my boys and princess love to be outside and use their imaginations from books we have read like Robin Hood to make a fort castle and they even painted their own flag. I am trying to slow down and treasure these days and take them all in and hold them in my heart. These children are such beautiful gifts from The Lord. I just want to slow down and capture these moments where my kids aren't photo perfect but are enjoying and seizing the day. Because this is truly what life in this home is beautiful imperfection. Children with dirt or paint on their clothes from creating masterpieces that are perfectly imperfect. So today I slow down and capture my cuties and I pray I do this more and enjoy each day with my sweeties.

We do daddy and mommy dates with our kiddos. Once a week Joe and I alternate taking our kiddos on dates. They get to pick where and this morning I got to take my oldest sweetie Ethan. This time is so special to our kids to get that one on one time with us. We got a new einstien bagel by our house and decided to try it. It was yummy and they have good coffee too, which this mommy needs in the mornings. And yes I do let my kids drink coffee on their dates. It is decaf. :)

The Boys had there Big Blue and Gold Banquet Awards Ceremony and Dinner for the year with our Den. All my boys made rank and I am so proud of them. Ethan made Webelo 1 and got pins and belt loops too, Austin made Bear and Got beads, belt loops and pins, and Corbin made Tiger Rank and got beads and pins. Scouting has been good for my boys, even though we do a lot of the outdoors stuff already the boys love having and doing stuff with their Den and love getting the recognition for completing something.
The banquet theme was different era's..........we had Creation and Dinosaurs, 1960's Space Expedition, 1800's Wild West, and Medieval themes going on. So all the kids had to work on centerpieces for the tables and the moms had to brain storm some ideas to add to. Needless to say with three boys doing a different theme there were many trips to Hobby Lobby for this momma. But all the boys Den's earned prizes for different themes and all there Den's are getting Ice Cream Parties and Ethan gets a Pizza Party on top of that too.
It was a GREAT night, but this mommy was soooo tired come 9:30 because I had been at the Church since a little before 2:00. There aren't any pics of little bit because she was at her end of being at the Church and had had enough. LOL
