Article 5 Dropped off Today

Well our Article 5 was dropped off today and is set to be issued on February 14th. Right now the wait for TA is 2-4 weeks after the Article 5 is issued. We are hoping for a quick TA!!!!!!! We are almost there baby girl.

Isn't it crazy how every little step is so exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel so blessed to get the chance to adopt, it is already made an impact on our family and friends around us (It has stirred two of our friends to adopt, one in the process, and one in the thinking stage.) I love how God uses adoption to stir the hearts of his people.

We are also sooooooo blessed to be at a church that has soooooo many adopted and foster kiddos. Our pastor and his wife have a heart for adoption (They are waiting for their domestic adoption of two siblings to be finalized soon).

Glory to God!!!!!!!!!!!

I pray you walk with the Lord all the days of your life and always try to glorify him in all you do. I pray also that God shows you your special gifts he has given you and that you use them to further his kingdom.

The Children's Museum

Well we went to the Children's Museum with our good friends The Jordan's. We all had so much fun mommy's included. LOL!!!!!! The kids got debit cards (pretend) when we got there so they could go to Kidtropolis. So cute..............in Kidtropolis they had atm machines, a bank, a restaurant, HEB grocery store, a bike shop, police station, news station, ambulance, vet clinic, Wall street floor trading, and an art studio. It was like real life for kiddos. So fun to pretend. They also had tons of things to climb on and build, and they also had a Mexican village set up to (where our kids stayed for a long time :) ) They were shoe makers, market owners, restaurant owners...............needless to say the kids had a blast. It was a fun day Here are some pics from the day

Isaiah 29:13-16

The Lord says:

"These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men. Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish. Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in the darkness and think, "Who sees us? Who will know?" You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, "He did not make me"? Can the pot say to the potter, "He knows nothing"?

I have been reading through the old testament and this verse in Isaiah really stood out to me. I had to look at my heart, do I honor God with words or my whole being, with everything inside me do I worship him. Am I one to tell people I will pray for them and don't (only honoring with words). Do I yell at my kids out of anger and turn around and tell them not to get angry with each other. What does my life reflect. It is a good verse for self examination to see where you heart lies and is your work for the Lord, or in vain, selfishness. Do not deny the creator Father God. He created you and loves you sooooo much. He knows the every motive of your heart. He is the potter and we the clay.
Lord I want to love you not just with words, but with my whole being that you created. I want to be consumed with you, so the joy of the Lord overflows to all those around me. Help me to show Joy overflowing to my husband and children, and all who are around me. Help me to stay true to your word and not let it get clouded with what man has added to or taken away from with rules and doctrines. Help me to have your eyes to see and your heart to love those around me.

Food Allergies...........Oh My

Hello my bloggy friends. We have just found out that our Little Austin (who is 7) has some food allergies. Wheat, Soybean, Corn, Brewers Yeast, Tomatoes and Peanuts. Do you know how many things have Soy in them................oh my goodness................even m&m's....................First I need to ask for prayer for his healing of these allergies, and second if any of you have any good suggestions on recipes I would love the help or advice.

I just want him to feel good and stop getting hives and headaches, and being tired. :( I am going to have to turn into Susie Homemaker because it looks like I am going to have to cook a lot from scratch. LOL!!!!!!

Oh, and crazy thing the cows at the store are fed corn and soybeans which means we can't eat those, so we are going to grass fed beef and chicken for now. We will let you know how this goes. :) We have a wonderful farm close to us YonderWay Farm that has Grass Fed Beef, Free Range Chickens, Pork, Fresh Farm Eggs, and Raw Milk.
Anywho any advice please..............I need it.

I800 Approval

We got our I800 Provisional Approval by email from our officer yesterday. Yeah!!!!!!!!!! One step closer, now I think we wait to be Cabled, then wait for the Article 5, and then Travel Approval. WooHoo!!!!!!!!!!!
