All Things Merry and Bright................

This Season seemed to have flown by for me. Trying to capture every moment with my kids and treasuring the little things and having to let go of things that are out of my control. :) One things for sure I love being a wife to my hubby of 14 years as of December 20th and mommy to these precious babes. They are just wonderful gifts from my Father above. We had and still are having a busy December. We have made Gingerbread houses, had friends over for a Christmas Party, Had a Christmas Party with Joe's Fire crew at The Station, had Christmas with my side of the Fam. Tomorrow we head to Joe's Dad and on New Years Day Joe's mom.
I hope all of you had a Very Merry Christmas!!!!! And Never Forget that baby boy sent for you Jesus the Christ.

A Hunting We Will Go

Joe's family have a 1000 acres in West Texas that we hunt. We finally have our own place to stay now with a toilet, shower, and kitchen. I do not like camping unless you have the previous. LOL The boys love going and it has started to be a family tradition since I started to like hunting last year. :) We took little bit with us for her fist hunting experience and she had a ball running around.
All my boys shot a deer. Austin (8) shot is first deer a Spike, Corbin (6) shot his first deer a 5 point, and Ethan (10) shot his second 8 point. I ws so proud of them. :)

As Close as We are Going to Get to The Jolly Fellow

Mia and Santa are not going to happen this year. She is utterly terrified of the Big Jolly Fellow, so instead I caught her doing this.

Morning Cuteness, Cub Scout Christmas Parties, and Christmas Parade

In an effort to get caught up on my blogging LOL there are alot of pics below. A couple I snapped this morning just because I couldn't resist the cuteness.

The boys had there Cub Scout Christmas parties and had a blast. They are really enjoying scouts and I am happy they have found something they like.

Also we went to our little towns Christmas parade (we have lived here for 14 years and this is the first time we have gone :0 ) The kids had fun diving for candy that was being thrown. Mia was a little reserved at first and never got down with getting the candy. She just depended on the boys to keep passing her suckers. Isn't that what a princess does. LOL

Trimming the Tree

Well we are still in our Rent home (thanks soooo much to our friends the Pigotts for letting us rent their Lake house). All of our stuff is still in storage other than clothes and a few toys we kept out for the kiddos. We had planned on having a home already (made 5 offers on different homes) but God had other plans for us. We are building now on our 3 acres and my parents will be building on 3 acres next to us. The building process is going slower than I would like, but it is not in my timing as the Lord is always teaching me.

So we bought a new tree and daddy dug through storage to find our Christmas ornaments. (Thank you Daddy) so the Tree is trimmed and the stockings are hung and here are a few pics of it. :)

I have Thanksgiving pics to post too, I am soooo behind. But that is how we roll here at the Leggio house with four kiddos and a whole lotta laundry and homeschooling. :) I will post those soon because we went to the deer lease and had soooo much fun and all the boys shot a deer (they were very very excited). Now mommy has organic meat to cook with. Hope all is well with everyone and Merry Merry Christmas!!!!!!

No Hands But Ours

If anyone thinking of adopting especially waiting children with special needs this is a GREAT resource to connect with other families that have adopted children with different special needs and also has great advice and other blogs to go to. I just love how the Bloggy world especially adoption Bloggy world is such the hands and feet of Jesus. You can click HERE to go to the No Hands but Ours website.

I am soooooooo behind in blogging and posting, we have been very busy over here at the Leggio house. I have had to be better at prioritizing our days and giving our days to God.

One AWESOME thing that is happening is One of my best friends is getting two little girls today ( one and two year old sisters.) They got the call last night and they are so excited and nervous. They are adopting domestically from Little Footprints. You can see there blog HERE, she hasn't put anything on their about the girls yet, but they are jumping from 3 boys to plus 2 little girls overnight. :)

Hope everyone has a GREAT and BLESSED weekend.

Pearl River Outreach Fill Their Stockings

Pearl River is an Awesome ministry helping China Orphans have the Loving Care of a Foster Family while they await for God to unite them with their Forever Families. Having adopted our sweet and precious China girl from an orphanage, we know this need is very instrumental to their development. Children in the orphanages can spend up to 20 hours a day in their cribs. Our sweet precious girl was very malnourished and a very very tiny failure to thrive little peanut who would arch away from us because she had never been held much. Pearl River helps with this by getting children the care, food and clothing they need to thrive and be Loved. Such an AWESOME ministry.

Pearl River is doing a fundraiser for their Bamboo Babies. You have a chance to help the orphan and win some cool stuff too. I challenge you to go with one less Starbucks this week and donate that $5.00 to the orphan. :)

As the Bible says...............Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27

One of my friends who always challenges me spiritually said to me once.........I wasn't put on this earth to be comfortable. I can be comfortable when I am in Heaven. She is an adoptive mamma with 6 soon to be 7 kiddos. :)

Click on my sidebar to be taken to where you can donate to this ministry or go to Diana's Blog , or Jennifer's Blog , or Paige's Blog , to see some precious Pearl River babies that have been adopted.

I am just amazed by God when I look at these children. I feel so honored to be able to be their mommy. I tear up thinking about it. What a blessing children are to us. What precious gifts from the Lord.
