Okay, I have not been the best about keeping everyone updated and blogging. This year I am going to try to keep the updates coming and the things that the Lord has laid on my heart. First of all I want to say I feel so blessed to know the Lord and I thank him daily for giving me the most amazing God fearing husband and three wonderful little boys. I know each and everyday is a true gift from God.

This year has had ups and downs. The down was one of our closest friends little girl Halie was diagnosed with Neroblastoma Cancer Stage 4 High Risk. This sweet little girl was left by doctors having a 10-15% chance survival rate, but we know we serve a huge God the Great Physician. 5 months later after chemo rounds and a stem cell transplant (All happened so quickly) this sweet angel child was scanned and her scans came back clean. PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!! Little Halie Goes in tomorrow for the start of 7 more hospitalizations for a Clinical trial that she made it too that ups her survival rate to beat this nasty childhood cancer. Join our family in continued prayer for Halie Pigott and The Pigott Family.

A recent blessing was a sweet friend asked us to be in this Homeschool Co-op. Not sure what to expect or really what we were getting into. Well this past Thursday was our first day and it was AWESOME!!!!! The kids loved it and it was great to fellowship with other Homeschooling mom's. The Schedule is Bible, Language Arts, Lunch/Recess, Art, Science Lab, and P.E. It went so smoothly the first day, and listening to them talk about how God put this together it was amazing. During the Children's lunch hour and Recess us mom's are doing a Bible Study called Seeking Him by Nancy Leigh Demoss. It is about personal revival in your life with the Lord. So far it has been great. I did all five days before we were supposed too.

Another wonderful blessing is that my husband and I are going through the book of Ezekiel. God spoke to both of us on this because he asked me about which book and I said how about Ezekiel and he said he was just thinking the same thing. Looking forward to growing in knowledge of our Heavenly Father with my hubby. Joe and I always feel more in sync when we are praying together and faithful in God's word.

On another note of some of the downs we are experiencing are the people we know coming too us and telling us they are getting divorced. These are people who say they are believers. Men and Women don't you know if you divorce your husband or wife you will cause you and your spouse to commit adultery. God is bigger than your selfish problems and arguments. One thing that couples need to understand is that your spouse is not God, your faithfulness first needs to be to God and through that faithfulness he will be in your marriage. You will be let down by your spouse in things, but your hope should be in the Lord. I have heard testimonies from friends that have went through very very hard times, but they held on to God and him alone, and now they have awesome God centered marriages. This, I just don't want to be married CRAP is not biblical. It is plain Selfishness. You made a Covenant before the Lord with your marriage vows and we need to keep this covenant.

Another thing Joe and I have learned this year was having Grace. Not just Grace in forgiveness but the Grace of Jesus (The Characteristics of Jesus) Galatians 5:22 But the Fruit of The Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self Control. We had to examine our lives to see if we were putting these attributes of Christ on. Our we loving to others, patient, gentle, faithful to God? This sermon we heard this year was one of the best. It talks about baby Christians on Milk that never grow out of being babies. Do you physical stay a baby forever, NO, so why do you want milk all your life, let's get to the meat of being a believer and grow. This pastor talked about how baby Christians our very offensive to non-believers because they do not know what they are saying because they do not know their Bible. There are more offensive baby believers than strong believers in Christ in our world. It is very sad.

My prayer for you friends and family is to grow in the Lord and if you don't know him that you would know him. REALLY KNOW HIM!!!!!! Not a fuzzy prayer you didn't mean, that is not going to save you. Saying a warm fuzzy prayer with no life change is not salvation, if you think so you are very much mistaken. Repent means to physically turn away from your sin and if you continue to live like Hell then there is no life change. I have heard so many excuses for not becoming a Christ follower. Christians our hypocrites for one. Well let me tell you that most people that say they are Christians aren't. I like to say Jesus Follower or Christ Follower, these people will go out of there way to show Christ's love to you, and yes we may fail sometimes and not be perfect, but at least you know our heart is to try to be like Christ. You can make excuses until your blue in the face, but God says in the end man will be without excuse for denying him. You can have so much joy and happiness in being a believer, instead of being in bondage. You may think you are happy and everything is great, but it's not. When something horrible happens in your life who will be there, what friends, what family, God will be if you let him. One very important thing is to be in your Bible. You study everything else, this needs to be on the top of priorities.
